David H. Allen
President and Managing Partner
David Allen founded this company to create more affordable workforce housing opportunities in the greater Boston communities. This, after Brenall Contracting Management, Inc., a company he formed in 2002 was acquired by a larger entity. David, an entrepreneur is keenly aware of the need to provide better access to workforce housing the marketplace and has carefully assembled a team that shares this view.
Owing to the emphasis the current Massachusetts government has placed on the link between affordable housing for the state's workforce and economic development, David is leading his team to capitalize on these opportunities to acquire and manage affordable workforce housing through government-issued tax credits.
With 7 years of experience in construction and real estate development and as an Independent Rental Owner (IRO), David has developed and managed multi-family properties in Boston and Fall River, Massachusetts. Through his marketing insights and resident focus philosophy David has built a reputation as an effective property manager.
David received Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Massachusetts, A Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) certificate from Curry College and a Massachusetts Construction Supervisor's license. David has solid experience in customer relation having worked at the Massachusetts Department of Revenue as a customer service representative and at Special Agent Systems, for over eight, years as a Customer Relations Manager.
Shawn McCormick, Esq.

Shawn McCormick's partnership with Barron Partners continues to provide oversight in areas of real estate and corporate law, operations and asset management.
Shawn is a well-known figure in the Boston legal circles with strong professional and social ties to Boston Irish and minority communities. These connections have afforded Barron Partners the opportunities to network effectively with property management professionals and real estate developers.
Philip Reid
Project Manager
Mr. Reid, a partner, works on a wide range of development activities including leading the design teams, construction management and marketing efforts.
Mr. Reid came to the Boston area, in 2003, from Jamaica, W.I., where he worked on several development projects as project designer having owned and managed an architectural design firm. His targeted clientele were mainly professionals for whom he designed and developed residential and commercial projects. Prior to joining Barron Partners, Mr. Reid was the construction manager on several residential construction projects on the Blue Hill Avenue corridor in Boston.
Mr. Philip Reid received his Diploma in Architectural Design from Holmwood Technical College in Manchester, Jamaica, W.I. An excellent soccer player Philip plays soccer, with a team he formed, every weekend weather permitting.
Ewerton Drake
Senior Property Manager
Mr. Ewerton Drake joined Barron Partners as a property manager in May of 2007. He assists the Managing Partner in developing strategies for property acquisitions and management and supervises the property management teams.
Prior to joining Barron Partners, Mr. Drake spent seventeen years with LBay Management Company in Boston, in which he worked in several different capacities ranging from make ready coordinator, assistance property manager and property manager. Mr. Drake has a Construction Supervisor License from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and is a member of various trade organizations.
Brenda Carrera
Operations Manager
Ms. Carrera joined Barron Real Estate Partners in 2007 and oversees the day-to-day office operations. Ms. Carrera also provides assistance on project operations and development.
Prior to joining Barron Partners, Ms. Carrera was the office manager for Brenall Contracting Management, a home remodeling company where her responsibilities include office operations and coordinating client contacts.
Outside of work, Ms. Carrera's interests include fitness, Spiritual Mediator and health care volunteering.
Ernest Siders
Acquisition/Development Advisor
Ernest Siders our resource Consultant is a principal and founder of Siders Equity Partners, a business development company, with a lifeline to help small business grow and thrive. He is also Chairman and CEO of Taxkings, an income tax preparation and advisory service. Siders work for thirty years in the world of finance and banking. In recent years he worked as an executive with State Street Bank and Trust Company managing Mutual Funds and Pension Funds. Prior banking experience includes The Bank of Boston and unity bank. He also worked at major New York banks, Bankers Trust Company and Manufactures Hanover Trust Company.
Mr. Siders earned a bachelor degree in business from Pace College, New York City; a master degree in business administration from Sawyer Graduate School of Administration at Suffolk University, Boston Massachusetts. He further studied at New York University Graduate Schools of Business and of Public Administration.
Siders was an adjunct professor of banking and economics at Simmons College in Boston: He was also adjunct professor of economics and management at Lesley University in Cambridge.
He served as trustee for Massachusetts American Baptist Investment Trust for 12 years. He has been a member of Messiah Baptist Church of Brockton for 20 years. He served as the president of Messiah Baptist-Jubilee Federal Credit Union for Ten years. He, over the years has served on numerous boards, both corporate and non-profit associations.
Siders is married and is the father of three, a son and two daughters. He lives in Holliston, Massachusetts.
